Poem-Dancing with Daffodils

Yellow and white daffodils open to the spring sun

Blue and purple pansies love to see daffodils opening their petals

Looking like sun rays searching from a heart of gold

Red tulips with white edges stand tall enjoying the warmth

Spreading their petals

Pansies sit around the bottom of their stalks

We all look so pretty

Showing off all their colors

Together tonight we can dance

Maybe other flowers will join us dancing

A gentle wind stirred the tulips to bob their heads

Tulips turned to look at the daffodils as they swayed in the breeze

Hi writer20, I have to agree with Genna East - after reading your beautiful poem I'm all ready for spring! I love the personification if this poem "bob their heads" and "turned to look". Very clever! Voting up :)

I am from the south and our daffodils are in bloom, have been almost a week now. I have a poem and many photos I am working on and there is a daffodil. My mother loved those and through her I see their beauty.

Beautiful words you have.

A beautiful poem

It seems everyone is anticipating spring, such a beautiful time of year. Daffodils are always the first sign for me, so bright and beautiful. A lovely garden scene writer.

Lots of color and imagery going on here. I was down south this past weekend...the buttercups are already in bloom...hopefully they will survive a late winter event in February or early March. Thanks much for sharing this with us. UP ad BEAUTIFUL. WB
